One thing that I've had fun with over the past several years was being on a Bowling League. My local Bowling Alley has Leagues that run through the week for adults, and a Youth League that is on Saturdays. I will have to say that I'm more or less an average bowler.
The best game I ever had was a 191, and that was at the end of a League session last year. One of my best friends got me started Bowling on a League, and I've enjoyed it very well.
Unfortunately, this past League session was shortened due to lack of Players, and I sort of lost interest for the rest of the Fall Bowling season. The economy didn't help this fact, which might be the reason for the lack of Players. Also, the rest of the Leagues during the week have been showing a lower Player response.
I just hope that things start to pick up for the Leagues, because Bowling Alleys rely on the fact that the Leagues keep going. I would hate to see my local Bowling Alley, or any Bowling Alley for that matter, close due to lack of League Players.
