I have thought about wanting to get a Tattoo, but never figured out when and what kind of Tattoo. A Tattoo is a permanent part of you body once you get one. It can be removed by Laser treatments, but I have heard it hurts worse than getting the Tattoo.
Tattoos have been around for thousands of years, and have gone through many stages of evolution in that time. Tattoos can be marks of rank, status, or instruments of fear. Tattoos also have been used to identify criminals by some cultures in the past.
In some cultures Tattoos are used as a right of passage to adulthood. Tattoos are as individual as the person with the Tattoo. Tattoos are also cultural and signify which culture they came from. The Maori Tattoos are Tribal Markings that are used by both men and women.
Japanese Tattoos are generally Full Body Tattoos that can take several years to complete. Henna Tattoos have been used in some cultures in Asia, Africa, and in the Mediterranean region. Henna Tattoos can last from two weeks to several months.
